I hate to be the girl that says a failed relationship makes you stronger but that’s kind of exactly what happened—sort of. I really liked this guy but the feelings weren’t reciprocated and this resulted in a lot of games and lies and eventually led to me being in a really low place with essentially no self confidence. It took amazing friends, a lot of music, journaling, and self help books and videos to get me through this really rough patch that lasted a few months.

Julie's biggest accomplishment was when she was 15 years old...

I guess my biggest accomplishment would be being comfortable with who I was and becoming confident enough to realize who should be on my life and who shouldn’t. It’s of course still a work in progress but I’m definitely proud of how far I’ve come.

Julie's biggest inspiration is...

I think my biggest inspiration are just genuinely my friends. And is it conceited to say myself? I think everybody you come across has something important to offer, negative or positive. Either version inspires me to be a better version of myself and learn from my own mistakes as well as others. Each day, I try to be better than who I was than the day before.
